DALTON, Minn. (KFGO) – A man is in custody after a reported domestic violence incident and search by law enforcement agencies.
The Grant County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call just after 10 a.m. on Nov. 12 reporting an assault by strangulation. The caller said a man left the scene and crashed his vehicle near the Ten Mile Lake Resort in Otter Tail County.
Deputies from Grant and Otter Tail Counties responded to the area and received reports of a man running out of the woods near the resort. Law enforcement used a drone and K9 in the search and found the suspect’s vehicle in the resort campground.
The suspect was taken into custody about one mile from the campground and the incident remains under investigation.
