GILBERT, Minn. (KFGO) — A 40-year-old man from rural Gilbert is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after an ATV crash late Wednesday night in northeastern Minnesota.
St. Louis County deputies found him semi-responsive beside his ATV. He was not wearing a helmet.
The man separated from friends earlier to ride alone. They discovered him while returning from viewing the Northern Lights.
No one saw the crash and deputies say alcohol is suspected. Emergency crews airlifted him to the hospital.
