WEST FARGO (KFGO) – A West Fargo man is in the Cass County jail after police say he tried fleeing a traffic stop Saturday afternoon in West Fargo.
Officers say they tried stopping Sheldon Erickson’s vehicle in the 1600 block of 9th Street E. for a traffic violation, but Erickson sped off. Officers pursued and were able to stop Erickson’s vehicle by using a Pursuit Intervention Technique.
Erickson, 43, was arrested for fleeing, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia, and given a ticket for speeding.
No one was hurt during the pursuit. Erickson’s vehicle was impounded.
