GRAND FORKS (KFGO) — A Fargo man was arrested by the Grand Forks police after he and another person barricaded themselves into their hotel room.
Officers with the Grand Forks Street Crimes unit tried to arrest 35-year-old Jordan Groninger at the Ramada Inn just before 1 p.m. Tuesday. Groninger and 21-year-old Skye Larson barricaded themselves in their room. The SWAT team was called because police believed Groninger or Larson had a gun.
Police were able to negotiate with the two before SWAT arrived, and both were arrested without incident.
Groninger was arrested for warrants in Ward County for armed robbery and burglary. Larson was arrested for warrants in Grand Forks County.
