ST. PAUL, Minn. (KFGO) – Paul McCartney plays Minneapolis Friday night and tickets are incredibly cheap. Tickets for the U.S. Bank Stadium can be found for as little as $25.
Rising ticket prices have been a persistent topic of concern, especially at arena and stadium shows.
McCartney’s “Got Back Tour” is bucking the trend, however.
When it was announced, the show had been billed as a major event with the stadium and promoter Live Nation touting the concert as “one of the biggest shows in Minnesota history.” When tickets went on sale, prices for the upper deck exceeded $100 and went up steeply from there. Now, fans can grab a seat for $25, including fees.
Many other dates on McCartney’s tour also have tickets below their original sale price.
