David Linder (KWLM Radio, Willmar)
OWATONNA, Minn. – A body found in Alaska on Monday has been confirmed to be one of the owners of Mankato Radio and Lakeland Media.
The Alaska Department of Public Safety says the body was that of 39-year-old David Linder, a partial owner of the group of radio stations. His body was found in a log jam in a river.
Linder and two others, Charles Eppard and Jeremy Lief, were embarking on a heli-skiing adventure in March when they became trapped under as much as 100-feet of snow, making rescue efforts dangerous for emergency teams.
Crews are continuing air and ground operations in an attempt to locate Eppard and Lief.
