FARGO (KFGO) – Fire crews responded to an electrical fire in south Fargo Tuesday afternoon.
The call to 3401 University Drive S. came in around 5:10 p.m. A meter on a power pole on the outside of a steel commercial building caught fire.
Bursts of flames and electrical sparks could be seen coming from the meter. Fire crews blocked off a portion of 15th Street S. on the back side of the building for about an hour-and-a-half while attending to the fire.
Once the power company arrived and turned off the electricity, crews were able to extinguish the fire.
No one was hurt.
