LEONARD, N.D. (KFGO) – A 56-year-old man is in jail after a shooting at a campground in Richland County over the weekend.
The Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called to the Sheyenne Oakes Campground about 10 miles south of Leonard Saturday night after a report of gunshots. The caller told dispatch one of the gunshots hit their camper.
Deputies arrested Kenneth Busse. He’s accused of firing a shotgun out of his camper window.
The Sheriff’s Office says no one was hurt and it was an isolated incident. Busse is in the Richland County Jail in Wahpeton.
