FARGO (KFGO) – The North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation is investigating the use of Snapchat to create and distribute sexually explicit materials by students at Fargo Davies High School.
A spokesperson for Fargo Public Schools says the BCI executed a search warrant at Davies High School Monday for personal property of specific students. The spokesperson says the school district and Davies High School are fully cooperating with the BCI’s investigation.
Attorney General Drew Wrigley issued a statement to KFGO News Tuesday afternoon.
“Our North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation is working closely with county and city law-enforcement agencies,” North Dakota Attorney General Drew Wrigley said in a statement to KVRR News.
“The Cass County State’s attorney’s office is currently providing oversight for this ongoing and potentially expanding investigation. I have committed our BCI investigators to remain engaged in this effort throughout.”
The school district has not said whether disciplinary action has been taken against any students.
