12th-15th Ave. N bridge
FARGO MOORHEAD (KFGO) – The cities of Fargo and Moorhead will host two public input meetings to discuss a proposed bridge replacement of the 12th-15th Avenue North bridge.
Tuesday’s meeting will be held at Horace Mann Elementary School at 1025 3rd Street North in Fargo. The meeting on Thursday will be at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church at 601 15th Avenue North in Moorhead. Both meetings will run from 5-7 p.m. with a formal presentation at 5:30.
The project includes a proposed replacement to alleviate road and bridge closures due to flooding and improve connectivity between Fargo and Moorhead. Representatives from both cities and Houston Engineering will be on hand to answer questions and discuss concerns.
The bridge had been privately owned until June of 2018 when it was transferred to the cities. People who used the bridge had been required to pay a toll prior to the ownership transfer.
