Andrianna Newburn (Olmsted Co. Jail)
ROCHESTER, Minn. – A former Rochester daycare worker accused of cutting a child with a pizza cutter has been sentenced to eight years in prison.
Andrianna Newburn, 27, was found guilty of seven charges, including assault, child torture, and terroristic threats.
Police responded to the assault in June of last year. Newburn got into an argument with her co-worker and threatened to cut her with the pizza cutter. She then swung the cutter at the other employees two-year-old daughter, who suffered multiple cuts to her face, one requiring surgery.
Newburn also faces an assault charge for attacking an inmate with a tablet at the Olmsted County Jail last month.
