MINOT, N.D. (KFGO) – The Minot Police Department says an investigation into the death of a 19-year-old Minot man led to an arrest Friday afternoon.
Police say 19-year-old Johnathan Decoteau of Minot was arrested after an investigation revealed he shot and killed Dorian Thomas. The shooting happened just before 1:00a.m. Wednesday morning. Police say when they arrived at the scene, Thomas was found with a gunshot wound and pronounced dead.
Decoteau is charged with Manslaughter, Tampering with Physical Evidence and Falsifying Information to Law Enforcement. He is being held in the Ward County Jail.
