FARGO (KFGO) – Fargo Police have released the names of two men who died in weekend shootings.
19-year-old Azeem Holmes of Fargo was killed in the first shooting early Sunday outside District 64, a bar and nightclub on Broadway.
About a half hour later, police and other local law enforcement agencies responded to an apartment building in the 4700 block of 16th Ave. S. 20-year-old Elijah hughes of Fargo died in that shooting.
The suspect in the downtown shooting, Tyrque Jones, 20, of Fargo, remains at large. An arrest warrant for murder has been issued for Jones.
Two other people were shot downtown. One person was hospitalized in critical condition. The other victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.
