Fargo Police to hold memorial service to honor Officer Wallin two years after he was killed

FARGO (KFGO) — The Fargo Police will hold a memorial service Monday to honor Officer Jake Wallin on the 2nd anniversary of his death.

Wallin was shot and killed while responding to a traffic crash July 14, 2023. Officers Andrew Dotas and Tyler Hawes were shot and wounded. Officer Zach Robinson shot and killed the gunman, Mohamad Barakat.

The service will take place at 9 a.m. Monday outside police headquarters at 105 25th St. N. It will include a flag-lowering ceremony.
