Aerial mosquito spray scheduled for Fargo-West Fargo; ground sprays scheduled for rural Cass County

WEST FARGO (KFGO) — Cass County Vector Control is planning to spray for mosquitoes in Fargo and West Fargo over the weekend.

An aerial spray is scheduled to begin 8 p.m. Sunday. A pre-spray flight will check the route for obstructions early Sunday morning.

Additionally, a truck-mounted spray is scheduled for rural cities and subdivisions in Cass County Monday evening. The city of Dilworth will also ground-spray for mosquitoes Monday evening.

Vector Control will spray permethrin, which is an insecticide approved for residential areas by the EPA.
