KARLSTAD, Minn. (KFGO) — One man was seriously burned in an explosion in Kittson County in northwest Minnesota. It happened shortly after 9:30a.m. Thursday.
The Kittson County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call of an explosion at Hanson Trucking in Karlstad.
Sheriff Matthew Vig says the man was using a grinder inside a feed trailer when flammable fumes ignited, causing the explosion.
59-year-old Wayne Martinson was transported by Karlstad Ambulance to Sanford Hospital in Thief River Falls.
