FARGO (KFGO) – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a portable radio from the ambulance garage in Hunter, northwest of Fargo.
Hunter Ambulance Service says the Motorola APX 4000R was stolen on June 24.
Radio data shows that the radio was taken to the Fargo area. The theft was discovered after the radio was put into emergency mode. The radio has been deactivated. It’s valued at $5,000. Hunter Ambulance Service says no questions will be asked if someone with information comes forward and the radio is returned.
The ambulance garage was open to the public at the time of the theft to manage storm clean up, feed volunteers and to store donated supplies.
