Stolen vehicle destroyed in fire along Highway 46

HORACE, N.D. (KFGO) — The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says a stolen vehicle was destroyed in a fire early Tuesday morning.

Deputies and the Southern Valley Response Team were called around 3:40 a.m. for a vehicle along Highway 46 that was fully engulfed in flames. No one was in or near the vehicle.

After the fire was put out, deputies learned the vehicle had been reported stolen in Fargo. Fargo Police and the Sheriff’s Office are investigating.
