FARGO (KFGO/KVRR) — Thousands of people remain without power in eastern North Dakota and western Minnesota, but numerous crews are cutting into those numbers.
Otter Tail Power Company says customers are without power from west of Jamestown to Beltrami County where over 3,500 outages are reported. Crews will continue to isolate damaged areas and restore power when possible.
Restoration in the Sheldon area is expected Monday evening. Fergus Falls customers had power until another line of storms Sunday morning caused new outages.
Otter Tail Power has 55 lineworkers in Bemidji, and it will take days there to get power restored.
Elsewhere, power has been restored to all customers in Valley City except for those where the service line has been pulled away from the home.
Cass County Electric reports 150 broken poles and nearly 3,800 members still without power, but crews have restored power to the towns of Hunter and Arthur, along with some surrounding areas.
Minnkota has restored power to the Arthur, Gardner, Page, and Grandin substations.
