FARGO (KFGO) – A Fargo man is facing charges after officers say he threw a large knife at several vehicles.
Police were called to the intersection of 1st Ave. S. and 10th St. S. just after 11:45 a.m. Thursday. Several witnesses said a man, later identified as 35-year-old Peter Isensee, damaged their vehicles. One witness told police Isensee threw a metal object that broke their windshield. Another witness said Isensee threw a bicycle in the street before throwing a knife at their car that damaged their windshield and sunroof. Another driver said Isensee suddenly stepped into the road and they tried to drive around. Isensee threw a knife at the car, and it got stuck in the windshield.
Officers found Isensee about a block away. It took several officers to restrain him. Court records say Isensee dropped what appeared to be a marijauna pipe on the ground while fighting with officers. A police report says Isensee said he would step on the pipe to destroy evidence, but the pipe would not break when he tried to crush it.
Isensee is charged with eight felonies, including 3 terrorizing and reckless endangerment charges, resisting arrest, and several misdemeanors. He is in the Cass County Jail.
