Four people in Minnesota were stalked, and then shot. State Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, were killed, and State Senator John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette, were critically injured. The Democrats appear to have been attacked simply for how they voted. Imagine that, being attacked for doing what they were elected to do.
How did we get here? How did we get to a place where all of this can happen? Unfortunately, it’s really not that hard to figure out. It’s because of the leadership. The type of leader that not only would love us to hate each other, but he would encourage it. Not to mention that he could benefit from it. The type of leader that would have followers joke about an elected official getting assassinated.
It’s going to take a true leader to fix something this wrong. A leader that comes without fear, and doesn’t care about what they could lose. And that leader needs to come from the same side that’s to blame for our current state. I haven’t seen that leader yet, and if we can’t see them after something like this, I’m afraid we never will.
I have another question for you: Are we at war with Israel or not? Donald Trump’s National Security Advisor stated that Iran wasn’t developing a nuclear bomb, followed by Trump saying he doesn’t care what she thought. Israel clearly doesn’t believe her either. There’s a reason they’ve brought a war against Iran, as they know Iran could never get the bomb.
With Israel attacking Iran and Israel being our allies, I would guess it puts us clearly on their side. Unless of course, you made a pledge to the American people that you’d never get into a war. Donald Trump promised that he wouldn’t get the U.S. into any more wars, and would only make deals.
Well, I can’t think of a better time for one than now. Especially if it was promised.
