LEEDS, N.D. (KFGO) – A Devils Lake man is dead after an SUV crash seven miles east of Leeds Thursday. The crash happened around 7:40 a.m. on U.S. Highway 2.
The Highway Patrol says the 62-year-old’s SUV left the road, entered the median, struck an embankment, crossed the road, and came to a rest in a slough. The victim, David Moe, was not wearing a seatbelt. He died at the scene.
The Benson County Sheriff’s Office, Lake Region Ambulance Service, Leeds Ambulance Service, and Leeds Fire Department assisted at the scene. The crash is under investigation.
