MINNEAPOLIS – A St. Paul man who was part of a fentanyl distribution ring in Minnesota is going to federal prison for 10 years.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office says 31-year-old Quijuan Bankhead admitted to traveling to Arizona to purchase the drugs, putting fentanyl pills in stuffed animals, and mailing them to Minnesota.
A joint investigation by Dakota, Ramsey, and Washington Counties led to the seizure of more than 30,000 grams of fentanyl pills.
As part of the investigation, six people were charged with conspiracy to distribute fentanyl.
