
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO) – A Grand Forks man is hospitalized with serious injuries after a fiery crash involving a motorcycle and pickup in Grand Forks Thursday evening.
Grand Forks Police say multiple callers reported the crash around 6 p.m. at the intersection of 32nd Avenue S. and 31st Street. Witnesses say the eastbound motorcycle hit the westbound pickup as the pickup was turning left at the intersection.
The motorcycle got lodged under the pickup. Police say both vehicles started on fire and were fully engulfed in flames.
The motorcycle rider, 18-year-old Jordan Anderson, was taken to Altru Hospital by ambulance.
The driver of the pickup, 48-year-old Samuel Turner of Mesa, Arizona is not hurt.
The crash is under investigation and anyone who witnessed it is asked to contact Grand Forks Police.
