GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO-KVRR) – A Grand Forks man with a history of running from officers is sentenced for fleeing from Grand Forks police in September.
37-year-old Derek Fuglem pleaded guilty to eight of fourteen counts against him including fleeing, preventing arrest and simple assault.
Six counts were dismissed.
Fuglem was sentenced to four years on the charges followed by three years of probation.
He was previously sentenced for fleeing from officers in 2017 and 2019.
He’ll be back in court in August after being charged with two counts of theft in April.
