NEW YORK MILLS, Minn. (KFGO) – The Minnesota State Patrol says high winds contributed to a crash in Otter Tail County that sent a New Jersey truck driver to the hospital Thursday.
The crash happened around 3:30 p.m. on Highway 10 in Newton Township.
The State Patrol says the truck was eastbound when the high winds from a storm caused the semi to come off the highway and roll into the median.
The driver, 55-year-old Olekfandr Ihnatenko of Manalapan, New Jersey, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. He was treated at Astera Health in Wadena.
