FARGO, N.D. – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, in conjunction with the FBI and the Fargo Police and Fire Departments, is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information related to the March 21 arson of a Tesla power station in Fargo.
Fargo Police and Fire personnel responded to a fire early that morning in the parking lot of Scheels All Sports at 1551 45th Street South. Surveillance footage captured a person entering the parking lot, igniting a fire on the base of the charging bank, and leaving the scene.
To be eligible for the reward, tips must lead to the conviction of those responsible. If seeking a reward, people must provide their name and contact information.
“Deliberately setting fire to a power station isn’t just reckless — it endangers lives and critical infrastructure,” said ATF Special Agent in Charge Travis Riddle of the St. Paul Field Division.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Fargo Police at (701) 241-5777 or text a tip with keyword “FARGOPD” to 847411. Those leaving a tip are encouraged to share as many details as possible related to the identity and/or whereabouts of the suspect.
