ST. PAUL, Minn. – Two boys, ages 14 and 17, are charged with the murder of 19-year-old Jay’Mier Keymari in St. Paul.
Officers found Keymari in a front yard March 28 and later learned he’d been stabbed 22 times.
Through text messages on his phone, investigators learned the pair had lured Keymari out of the house under the guise of hanging out. The 14-year-old allegedly confessed that he and the other teen had stabbed Keymari because he had threatened the suspect’s girlfriend’s child.
Home surveillance video showed the suspects’ clothes, which were later found in the home where the suspects lived.
