FARGO (KFGO) – A Fargo man has been arrested and charged in a drug overdose death.
On Monday afternoon, police responded to the 3900 block of 13th Avenue South on a medical assist call. Court documents say the victim was found in a restroom in the lower level of West Acres Shopping Center. They discovered a 25-year-old man dead in a bathroom. Police believed that he died of a fentanyl overdose.
Police detectives and investigators, part of the Cass County Drug Task force, collected evidence at the scene and conducted interviews.
Less than four hours later, Tristin Monsebroten, 26, of Fargo was arrested.
He’s in the Cass County Jail on charges of fentanyl distribution resulting in death.
