Randall Duffy (Cass Co. Jail)
FARGO (KFGO KVRR) – A Cass County District District Court judge has sentenced a Fargo man to 30 years in prison for the death of a woman he had been in a relationship with, that she was trying to break off.
Randall Duffy, 62, pleaded guilty in January to choking 59-year-old Jody Campbell to death. Campbell worked at Blackbird Woodfire in downtown Fargo.
Last June, police reports say Duffy called and asked them to send someone to an apartment in the 3100 block of 33rd Street South. He led officers to a closet where he had put Campbell’s body.
Duffy told officers the two got into a fight over a meth pipe. He said he got mad and choked her too long. He had been in jail since his arrest.
