JAMESTOWN, N.D. (KFGO) – A Freightliner fuel truck driver was injured in a crash Saturday in Jamestown.
Police say the fuel truck was approaching another truck and then moved toward the shoulder to create space for both trucks to pass each other when the fuel truck went off the road and slid down a steep embankment and rolled several times.
The truck was transporting about 2,000 gallons of diesel, which leaked from a valve on the top of the tank. The amount of fuel spilled has not been determined.
Police say the 73-year-old Jamestown driver was able to exit the truck with minor injuries.
