FARGO (KFGO) โ A Fargo man was arrested on assault with a deadly weapon and other charges after Fargo police responded to a call of a disturbance involving a gun at a downtown bar early Sunday morning.
Officers determined that both the suspect and the victim had left the scene prior to their arrival.
There was no evidence that anyone had suffered a gunshot wound. Police later responded to a hospital where the victim was receiving treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
Criminal Investigations Division Lt. Tom Shaw says with assistance of the Metro Street Crimes Unit, 28-year-old Daniel Scott was found at an apartment in south Fargo about 12 hours later.
Scott was taken to the Cass County Jail on charges of aggravated assault with a weapon, reckless endangerment, being a felon with a gun and violation of a protective order.
