FARGO (KFGO) – Fargo, West Fargo and Moorhead fire crews responded to a house fire in south Fargo Friday morning.
The call to 2665 Meadow Creek Circle came in at about 10:15. It was initially reported as an electrical fire in the basement of the home. Heavy smoke was coming from the house when fire trucks first arrived.
Fire Marshal Ryan Erickson says the blaze went to a 2nd alarm and the Moorhead and West Fargo Departments were called for mutual aid.
The fire extended and there is extensive damage. The cause is under investigation. No one was hurt. Erickson says the residents will be displaced for a considerable amount of time. There’s no dollar estimate of the damage.
Fargo police, a Cass County deputy and two Sanford Ambulances were also on scene.
