James Laducer
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO KVRR) – A Grand Forks man has been sentenced to five years in prison after changing his plea to guilty to endangering by fire.
James Laducer, 37, was arrested last October after police responded to a domestic violence call.
They noticed smoke coming from the home when they arrived and a man partially hanging out of a window. Police learned that Laducer had a fight with the victim and then began lighting objects inside the home on fire. The victim and two children were already outside when officers arrived.
Laducer was given credit for time already served in jail.
