FOLEY, Minn. (KFGO) – A Sauk Rapids police officer has been charged with sexually abusing a minor about 17 years ago.
Benton County prosecutors say Andrew Jensen was 16 to 18-years-old when he abused a girl who was six or seven-years-old multiple times over many months. The victim came forward to her family last December. When the victim confronted Jensen with adult family member, he admitted to the abuse.
Jensen was put on administrative leave and later placed on unpaid leave.
The Morrison County Attorney’s Office in Little Falls is handling case.
