DILWORTH, Minn. (KFGO/KVRR) โ Governor Tim Walz is traveling north Wednesday to check out the progress being made at the new Dilworth Fire Station.
The project is being funded by the infrastructure bill the governor signed into law in 2023.
Heโll be joined by Senator Rob Kupec, Dilworth Mayor Chad Olson and Dilworth Fire Chief Scott Payne.
Walz plans to discuss the need to pass a bonding bill this session to support infrastructure projects aimed at creating jobs and improving safety.
The new fire station is set to open by the end of summer.
