Carter Hammer (Cass County Jail)
FARGO (KFGO) – A Fargo man has pleaded guilty to having sex with two teenage girls.
19-year-old Carter Hammer changed his plea to guilty after being charged with gross sexual imposition with a victim under 15 and corruption of a minor.
He is also pleading guilty to eight counts of terrorizing with a dangerous weapon for an incident last summer when he was waving a gun around during an argument.
Hammer tried to contact the girl multiple times from jail by sending her letters and making three-way phone calls through other people. He told investigators he and the girl had matching tattoos symbolizing their love for each other.
He also had sex with a different 14-year-old girl.
As part of a plea agreement, another gross sexual imposition charge was dropped.
