MOORHEAD, Minn. (KFGO-KVRR) โ Moorhead Police say man having a medical emergency crashed into a home Friday.
It happened at the intersection of Ninth Street North and Second Avenue.
The owner of a nearby business heard the crash and tried to help free the occupants of the vehicle until fire crews arrived.
No one was inside the home at the time of the crash.
According to police, the driver, a 59-year-old Moorhead man, tried to pull over, but hit the accelerator.
โThe passenger told [the driver] to pull over,โ said Sargent Scott Kostohryz. โHe tried to and in the process, our working assumption is he hit the gas instead of the brake. After the crash, the gas was still engaged.โ
