BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO) – The chancellor of the North Dakota University System is retiring.
Mark Hagerott announced his plans during a meeting of the Board of Higher Education on Friday. It’s effective April 29. Hagerott says he plans to split his time between North Dakota and Washington, DC and will accelerate his work on national security projects.
The board will meet next week to discuss the appointment of an interim chancellor. Hagerott was hired about 10 years ago.
