COLFAX, N.D. (KFGO) – Two large donations have been made to help fund a performing arts and events center in Colfax, North Dakota. Paul and Vanessa Kummer and the family of Bill Richardson made two separate donations totaling $220,000 dollars.
“We are proud to support the Richland #44 School Foundation and their
efforts in building the The 44 Venue. This project is closely aligned with our philanthropic vision of
enriching the quality of life for the greater community and providing additional opportunities for the
students and staff in the Richland #44 School District.” Vanessa Kummer said.
The Richland school district says revenue generated from the project will directly impact their students and staff. The project, named ‘The 44 Venue’, will open this summer.
