Kim Spencer and her pooch, Kona, were on an evening walk in Tampa, Fla. when a 6-and-a-half-foot alligator emerged from a nearby lake and started heading their way. Spencer tried to pull Kona away, but the gator was too fast and quickly caught up to them.
“It suddenly jumped at her and got her.”
Both survived without significant injuries, but they did get wounded during the incident and both received stitches for their wounds.
