WATFORD CITY, N.D. (KFGO) – A sheriff’s deputy in western North Dakota is on paid administrative leave after a deadly officer-involved shooting Monday night.
The shooting happened at a home south of Watford City around 7:20 p.m. after deputies responded to a domestic disturbance. The McKenzie County Sheriff’s Office says the person who was shot was taken to the hospital in Watford City where he died.
The Bureau of Criminal Investigation is investigating.
No names have been released.
