MINNEAPOLIS – A federal indictment charges a prison nurse in Rochester with having abusive sexual conduct with an inmate.
Jessica Larson, 37, worked for the Bureau of Prisons at the Federal Medical Center in Rochester. Court documents say Larson began a romantic relationship with an inmate and the two exchanged sexually explicit letters and had a sexual encounter on April 3, 2024.
Larson falsely accused the inmate of sexual assault and threatened her children. Two months after being placed on administrative leave, Larson drove 600 miles from Iowa to Cincinnati, Ohio to mail a love letter to the inmate who had been moved to another facility.
Larson is due in federal court on April 9.
