Joshua Temple
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KFGO) – A Grand Forks man will spend 5 years in prison for abusing his wife who had cancer.
Dr. Whitney Temple died last May after her battle with cancer. Her husband, Joshua Temple, pleaded guilty to abusing her. Whitney made allegations of abuse during an ER visit shortly before her husband was arrested.
Whitney had visible bruises and lacerations on her body, and suffered a compression fracture in her back as a result of the abuse.
Joshua Temple will also have to serve two years of supervised release, and undergo domestic violence treatment.
