FARGO (KFGO) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol has released the name of a man who died in a hit-and-run crash in Fargo earlier this month.
He was Bernd Scholz, 61, of Fargo. Scholz, who was on a bicycle, was hit by an SUV driven by 42-year-old Jeremy Jorgenson of Hawley, Minnesota on March 12.
The collision was at the intersection of NP Ave. and 10th St. N.
Jorgensen left the scene. Jorgensen and the SUV were later located. The patrol says their investigation is continuing and Jorgensen has not been charged.
