
GRAND FORKS (KFGO) โ Two Grand Forks teens are being charged as adults for a allegedly shooting into a car and wounding two juveniles in January.
16-year-old Mason Allery and now-18-year-old Walker Poitra were arrested late January 3. Police say they both fired several rounds into a car with five juveniles inside. Two were shot and taken to Altru hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The teens ran, but were arrested a short time later.
Allery and Poitra are each charged with 5 counts of attempted murder, terrorizing, reckless endangerment, and minor in possession of a firearm. If convicted, each attempted murder charge carries up to 20 years in prison.
