NORTHWOOD, N.D. (KFGO) – A 66-year-old Hatton man is dead and a 16-year-old boy was injured in a crash Wednesday morning.
The crash happened around 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of a gravel road and State Highway 18 about five miles east of Northwood.
The Highway Patrol says the 16-year-old was eastbound on the gravel road when his pickup t-boned the man’s northbound car. Both vehicles wound up in the ditch. Neither person was buckled.
The 16-year-old was taken by ambulance to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks with non-life-threatening injuries. The man died at the scene.
The crash is under investigation.
