FARGO (KFGO) – A Fargo man who fled from West Fargo Police at high speed last summer will spend 28 days in jail.
Last June, an officer tried to make a traffic stop after seeing Isaac Teegarden quickly accelerate and screech the tires of his vehicle on Main Avenue. Teegarden drove away from the officer at speeds over 100 miles per hour.
After a search that included multiple officers, a thermal drone, and a neighbor’s security camera, a woman who was in the car told officers teegarden was the driver.
Teegarden pleaded guilty to misdemeanor fleeing. Prosecutors dismissed a felony reckless endangerment charge.
Teegarden was given 360 days in jail with credit for time served and all but 28 days suspended. He will also be on probation for a year and a half.
