FARGO (KFGO-KVRR) โ A federal judge says the Bureau of Prisons will go through hundreds of pages of medical records to determine if the agency has the ability to provide adequate medical care Ray Holmberg.
Holmberg pleaded guilty last August to traveling overseas with the intent to have sex with minors. His sentencing is scheduled for March 26.
Court documents say Holmberg intends to submit the testimony of a doctor who will testify at his sentencing hearing about Holmbergโs โmany medical conditions.โ
Approximately 900 pages of medical records were filed under seal by the defense.
U.S. District Judge Daniel Hovland says prosecutors would not be prohibited from contacting the Bureau of Prisons and sharing general information about any defendantโs medical condition.
Holmberg was ordered to turn himself in on November 1, after Hovland determined he violated the terms of his release.
