MANKATO, Minn. – A Kwik Trip convenience store employee has died after being stabbed following a disturbance at a store in Mankato just after 3 a.m. Monday.
Officers arrived to find the employee unresponsive on the floor with a knife wound. The victim was taken to Mayo Clinic Health System where he died.
Police were able to identify the suspect after reviewing store surveillance footage and arrested a 28-year-old man.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is involved in the homicide investigation.
